La Carlinga Optimist completa con cazoleta Optiparts – RACE Optiparts – EX1201 es un maststep ajustable para Optimist que incluye una cazoleta reforzada diseñada para mayor durabilidad y rendimiento. La base y la parte redonda de la cazoleta aumentan de grosor de 1,5 mm a 2 mm, y la unión soldada entre la cazoleta y la sección roscada está reforzada. Pesa unos 30 g más que la versión estándar, pero se adapta a las placas base ya existentes en los barcos. Cuenta con escala de inclinación del palo (mast rake) en la base, permitiendo ajustar y repetir configuraciones fácilmente, y ofrece opción de bloqueo con muelle (spring lock) para evitar que la tuerca gire accidentalmente.
