The Optimast Red Flex WZ-5000 mast set was developed to complete the range between the Red and Blue models. It is manufactured from AW 7025/7075 aluminium alloy with a thickness of 1.8 mm for the mast, making it recommended for sailors weighing between 30 and 40 kg.
 The modified AW 7025 aluminum alloy achieves maximum rigidity with minimum weight. In addition, Optimast poles have a hard anodized porcelain finish that makes them 15% less aerodynamic resistance, 30% more resistant to corrosion and 100% more resistant to impacts.
